The Board will meet in open session and after determining the presence of a quorum, discuss the following agenda items:
- Call to Order
2. Welcome and Overview
3. EPP Evaluation Systems for Accountability and Support
Staff will engage the Board in a discussion of their EPP Evaluation Systems for accountability and support. The Board will discuss the role of ASEP and the Continuing Approval Review and the role that their policy to implement the redesigned Continuing Approval Review can play to impact stronger support and improvement for EPPs.
4. Certification Exam Strategy
Staff will discuss with the SBEC their certification exam strategy, beginning with a retrospective discussion of the strategy鈥檚 evolution over the past 10 years and then centering future certification exam policy considerations.
5. Adjournment
The Board may go into closed session regarding any item on the agenda to the extent it is authorized to do so pursuant to the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551. The presiding officer of the Board intends to be physically present in Room 2.034, Barbara Jordan Building, 1601 North Congress Avenue. Some members may attend via videoconferencing.
