This letter is to inform local educational agencies (LEAs) about the closing of the State Performance Plan Indicator 14 (Post-school Outcomes) data collection in the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) for the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR).

SPPI 14 Data Collection

The TSDS State Performance Plan Indicator (SPPI) 14 Post-school Outcomes collection opened on August 4, 2025. This collection gathers contact information for students with disabilities who exited an LEA in the 2024-25 school year. SPPI 14 fulfills the federal public reporting requirement on post-school outcomes for the SPP/APR, per .

Key Dates

  • Ready for users to load data to the Individual Operational Data Stores (IODS): August 4, 2025
  • Ready for users to complete: November 3, 2025
  • Submission deadline: February 19, 2026
  • Data available to customers: March 5, 2026

Inclusion Criteria for Students in the SPPI 14 Data Submission

The SPPI 14 data submission must include students with disabilities who had an individualized education program (IEP) and meet the following criteria:

2024-25 School Year

  1. Were enrolled in grades 9-12 during the 2024-25 school year
  2. Had an IEP and received special education during the 2024-25 school year
  3. Reported in the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) Fall or Summer data submission for the 2024-25 school year

2025-26 School Year

  1. Exited the LEA for the 2025-26 school year
  2. Had a leaver record () as defined by one of the following leaver codes () reported in the 2025-25 PEIMS Fall data submission (see ):
    1. 01 (Graduated)
    2. 90 (Graduated from another state under provisions of the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children)
    3. 24 (Withdrew to enter college)
    4. 88 (Court-Ordered to a High School Equivalency Program)
    5. 98 (Other)
  3. Are not enrolled at a LEA during the 2025-26 school year

LEA Special Education Program Responsibilities

LEA program staff should coordinate with their data steward to ensure the following requirements are met:

  • Submitting current, complete, and accurate SPPI 14 data to the TSDS
  • Validating data per business rules and validations
  • Correcting all errors during the data validation process in a timely manner
  • Delivering 鈥渇atal-free鈥 corrected SPPI 14 data on or before the deadline set by 7m视频
