Texas Intervention Academies

Texas Intervention Academies is an optional program designed to prepare administrators, teachers, and interventionists to implement effective, evidence-based academic interventions within a strong Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.

As part of the Content Academies initiative, Texas Intervention Academies equip educators and leaders with research‑based, high‑quality professional learning to strengthen foundational skills, accelerate student growth, and support targeted intervention across grade levels. Through Intervention Academies, participants will become equipped with:

  • Practical strategies for Tier-One, Tier-Two, and Tier-Three interventions,
  • Early and effective approaches to help close achievement gaps before they widen, and
  • Systems‑level practices that build coherence and sustain interventions over time.

Texas Intervention Academies has been developed through a partnership with 7mÊÓƵ and The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk at The University of Texas at Austin.
