IDEA-B LEA MOE-Eligibility Standard
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B) local educational agency (LEA) maintenance of effort (MOE) requires school systems receiving IDEA-B grant funding to budget and spend at least the same amount of local 鈥 or state and local 鈥 funds for the education of children with disabilities on a year-to-year basis. The required MOE levels for budgeting and spending are referred to, respectively, as the 鈥渆ligibility standard鈥 and the 鈥渃ompliance standard.鈥 ().
