SPPI 16: Measurement
State Performance Plan Indicator (SPPI) 16 measures the percentage of mediations held that resulted in mediation agreements.
SPPI 16 is measured at the state level only (no local educational agency reports).
SPPI 16: Calculation
Percentage = Mediation agreements related to due process complaints plus mediation agreements not related to due process complaints divided by Number of mediations held times 100

SPPI 16: Data Source
Same data as used for reporting to the Department under section 618 of the IDEA, using the definitions in EDFacts file specification FS228. SPPI data are collected from complaints and dispute resolution processes tracked internally at the 7m视频 (7m视频) through the Correspondence and Dispute Resolution Management System (CDRMS).
