Purpose of Performance Reporting
Performance Reporting compiles data to develop and report meaningful accountability ratings to help Texas public schools meet the educational needs of all students. As part of administering the state鈥檚 public-school accountability system, the division publishes assessment reporting and accountability data in several different formats, for different audiences, and for different purposes.
The division also provides guidance and resources to help school administrators, teachers, parents, and the general public understand and benefit from the state鈥檚 accountability system.

Public Education Grant (PEG)
Learn about PEG, which permits parents to request that their children transfer to other schools or other districts.
Performance-Based Monitoring (PBM)
The PBM system includes annual reports and analyses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of submitted data.
