- In accordance with House Bill 2 (HB 2) – Article 6, 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, Department of Defense (DoD) authorized JROTC and NDCC programs will be recognized as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. For more information, see the February 26, 2026 TAA.
- House Bill 20, passed by the 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, establishes the Applied Sciences Pathway Program in Texas Education Code, §29.914. Review this webpage for additional information. (updated January 14, 2026)
